If any member company has a topic suitable for a PhD studentship we would be delighted to discuss the development of a project specification. It is intended NSRI funded studentships should be directed towards industry objectives and aligned with key research themes. We are especially interested in projects in the areas of:

• Data mining, data modelling and data management
• Reliability improvement
• Inspection technologies
• Materials
• Control systems
• Offshore geotechnical engineering
• Flow assurance, subsea separation
• Electronic systems and/or communications technologies
• Subsea power
