Subsea Technology Advisory Group

The Subsea Technology Advisory Group (STAG) is responsible for determining, on an on-going basis, the overall technological direction of the NSRI. 

The group advises NSRI on longer term future technology requirements and from that, recommends key areas of research and technology development, aimed at improving overall industry performance and economic efficiency.

Composition

STAG comprises representatives from across the subsea industry supply chain who are subscribing members to NSRI and meet 4 times per year for a half day meeting.

Membership of STAG is offered to all subscribing members of NSRI.

The Chair-person is elected by the members of the group and will be an industry representative from  the STAG group.  The elected position is rotated on an annual basis. 

The current Chairman is John Mair (Subsea 7).
